Description of awareness programme

At the initiative of SLCC Karnataka, a series of public awareness programs have been launched in the State to sensitize the investing public against unauthorized deposits and fraudulent financial schemes. The maiden program was held in Tumakuru (one of the vulnerable districts) of Karnataka on 17-18 November, 2015. The program was a joint effort of RBI, Government of Karnataka, Economic Offence Wing of Karnataka Police and SEBI etc. The district administration was actively involved in conducting pre-event publicity campaigns.
