Four Taluks of Chikkaballapura District, Karnataka (Chikkaballapura, Bagepalli, Chintamani, Shidlaghatta)
Fifth in the series for the panel year 2015-16, PA program was held in four taluks of Chikkaballapura district (Mysuru, Nanjangud, Hunsur, T. Narasipura), Karnataka on 16th -17th June, 2016. The program is essentially targeted at the common investing public alerting them on the perils of investing in fraudulent and unauthorized deposit schemes/multi-level chain link schemes etc, demonstrated to public by staging of a Skit and Yakshagana (a local folk art form), followed by a question/answer session for clarifying matters. A simple quiz was held at the end of the programme and gifts were given away for the winners. The program was a success as it attracted good number of people. The event got a wide coverage in the local print media. The program was a joint effort of RBI, Government of Karnataka, Economic Offence Wing of Karnataka Police and SEBI under the aegis of SLCC, karnataka.
