Description of awareness programme

DNBS, RBI, Jaipur participated in an Investor Awareness Programme (IAP) organized by Registrar of Companies on July 23, 2016 at Beawar (Ajmer), Rajasthan. This programme was organized for creating awareness among the teachers and the parents of the students of Government Girls Secondary School, Beawar (Ajmer) regarding the action/ frauds being done by the miscreants/ Non-banking finance companies against the interests of the depositors/ investors. The participants were cautioned not to deposit/ invest money with unregulated/ unincorporated bodies, they should not get lured by unrealistically high assured returns, not to become part of any online survey/ scheme which asks for deposit of money and promises/ assures high returns or offers cheap loans. They were suggested not to invest on the basis of hot tips and rumors. Should never fall prey to calls/ mails/ fictitious offers made in the name of Regulators (RBI, SEBI, NHB, IRDA etc.) offering bonus, credit/ debit/ pre-paid cards, loans, high returns or profits etc. The information given by RBI was largely welcomed by the participants in general.
